One of the more interesting Blu-ray projects undertaken in Blu-ray space is the Neil Young archive release.
While the release has been dogged with delays and rumours of cancellation, I see that the Neil Young Archives Volume 1 (1963 - 1972) 10 disc Blu-ray set is available for pre-order at Amazon.
While Amazon doesn’t appear to have their own stock of the new Panasonic Blu-ray players yet, some of their sell through partners are now shipping these BD Live capable players.
I see over at Video Business an article that discusses Disney’s push into 2009 with new releases on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
Watch out for the classic Disney movie Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition arriving on March 10th, 2009.

EngadgetHD is reporting that the firmware needed to update the Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-ray player to BD Live was released today (official site).

I read over at Video Business that Sony is starting a rewards program for users of their BD Live enabled Blu-ray Discs.

I see over at EngadgetHD today that Sony has released a new version of firmware for the BDP-S350 player that enables the BD Live functionality in the player.
The new Sony BD Live player is now available for pre-order.
Sony Style are listing the release date as “on or about 10/13/2008″ and the price is $499.99.
I know a lot of people have been waiting patiently (?!) for this player - now the countdown begins.
