The Incredible Hulk US Blu-ray Release

incrediblehulk.jpgI read over at DVD Times that the details for the US release of The Incredible Hulk have been announced.

Universal Studios Home Video will release the US release The Incredible Hulk Blu-ray on October 21st priced at $39.98. The movie features Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt.

Wall-E Coming in 2 Disc and 3 Disc Blu-ray Editions

wall-e.jpgAfter listing both 2 and 3 Disc Editions for Prince Caspian, it looks like Disney is doing the same for Wall-E.

The Wall-E standard 2 Disc Edition will be released by Walt Disney Video on November 18th, 2008.

Retail will be $35.99, only $24.95 at Amazon.

Neil Young Blu-ray Archives Release Gets a Date

neilyoung.jpgNeil Young’s Archives Volume One 1963-1972 collection is planned for release on November 3rd.

The Blu-ray/DVD collection will cover 10-discs and is expected to contain live sets including the 1971 show Live At Massey Hall and the 1970 show Live At The Fillmore East.

Wall-E, Prince Caspian and Universal Gangsters Planned for Blu-ray

disney.jpgIn the most recent Home Media Magazine, Disney is advertising their third and fourth quarter Blu-ray releases.

The two page advertisement gives the release date for Wall-E as November 18th and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian as December 2nd.

The advertising also states that Nightmare Before Christmas, Wall-E as November 18th and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian will all feature a Digital Copy, hinting at iPod compatibility.

Panasonic to Bring New Blu-ray Player Models for Holiday Season

panasonic.jpgIt is somewhat of a surprise to me to read of new Panasonic Blu-ray players planned for the holiday season.

It is a surprise since Panasonic is one of the few, if not the only player manufacturer to have both a Bonus View and a BD Live Blu-ray player in their line up already.

Iron Man Blu-ray Specifications Released by Paramount

ironman.jpgThe feature list for Iron Man on Blu-ray Disc has been revealed in a press release from Paramount and it looks like they have pulled out all the stops on this one.

The Blu-ray Disc version will be a two disc release with all of the features from the DVD included in High Definition.

The first disc will include the movie complete with lossless audio, Deleted Scenes, a pair of featurettes and a BD Live feature called Iron Man IQ.

NEC Announces the World’s First Single-Chip LSI for Blu-ray Disc Players
