Universal also has a 4K Ultra HD release for The Secret Life of Pets and The Secret Life of Pets 3D, all with Dolby Atmos object based audio.

Another key title is the latest Jason Bourne movie, again from Universal Studios and again with a 4K Ultra HD version for Jason Bourne, both with DTS:X object based audio.

Going with the Bourne theme, there are new 4K Ultra HD releases for The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and The Bourne Legacy, all with new DTS:X audio mixes.

Other Universal titles include Don’t Think Twice from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has Steven Spielberg’s The BFG on Blu-ray this week.

Sport fans will want to check out the 2016 World Series Champions: The Chicago Cubs Blu-ray release from Shout! Factory.

Warner has some new versions of catalog films, including Mad Max: Fury Road / Fury Road Black & Chrome Edition, and 4K Ultra HD releases for Goodfellas, I am Legend, Argo, and The Town this week.

Fox Home Entertainment is rounding out the Prison Break series with repackages of Prison Break: Season One, Prison Break: Season Three, and Prison Break: Season Four, along with the first time release of Prison Break: Season Two.

Art house titles this week include Howards End from E1 Entertainment, as well as Laurie Anderson’s Heart of a Dog and Luis Buñuel’s The Exterminating Angel from the Criterion Collection.

Fox Home Entertainment’s big release is the animated sequel Ice Age: Collision Course, which is also available as a deluxe edition of Ice Age: Collision Course with Blu-ray 3D, and a 4K Ultra HD edition of Ice Age: Collision Course with Dolby Atmos audio.

Also watch for Blood Father and Glengarry Glen Ross on Blu-ray Disc from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Paramount Home Entertainment has the 70th Anniversary edition for It’s a Wonderful Life that features a colorized version along with the original black and white.

Horror specialists Shout! Factory have John Carpenter’s The Thing and Brian De Palma’s Carrie in Blu-ray Collector’s Editions this week.

Art house titles include McCabe & Mrs. Miller and BoyHood from the Criterion Collection, and French film Les Cowboys from Cohen Media.

They have also remastered Prince’s movies for the Prince Movie Collection, with Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge also in individual releases, all with special purple cases.

4K Ultra HD catalog releases from Warner this week include Pacific Rim and The Great Gatsby.

Lastly for Warner there is a repackage for the Harry Potter movies, from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Part 2.

MGM Home Entertainment are releasing the television Blu-ray title Vikings: Season 4 Volume 1.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has the video game inspired Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV this week.

Showtime title Penny Dreadful: The Final Season is available from Paramount Home Entertainment.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is releasing indie titles Into the Forest and Joshy on Blu-ray this week.

Other indie titles include the Korean movie The Wailing from Well Go USA and Robert Altman’s Nashville from the Criterion Collection.

All in all it is a pretty big week!

The latest Coen brothers movie Hail, Caesar! hits Blu-ray this week from Universal Studios Home Entertainment, who is also distributing 99 Homes from Broad Green Pictures.

Fox Home Entertainment has a big week, with The Martian: Extended Edition on Blu-ray Disc and both the original Independence Day and The Martian: Extended Edition on the new 4K Ultra HD format.

Fox also has re-release titles, including The Descendants and Life of Pi on Blu-ray 3D.

Other Ultra HD titles include both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and the IMAX title Journey to Space from Shout! Factory, which also comes with the Blu-ray 3D edition.

Foreign and art house titles this week include The Confirmation from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Le Amiche from Criterion Collection, A War from Magnolia Home Entertainment, and The Best Intentions from Film Movement.
