Amazon is back with their ‘Buy 2 Blu-ray Discs, Get 1 Free‘ promotion - effectively three for the price of two.

The 147 titles included span Sony, Fox, Lionsgate, Warner, Starz and a few from Image Entertainment, including some of their music titles.

Titles include I Am Legend, The Bank Job, 300, The Fifth Element, Shoot ‘Em Up, Night Watch, Wall Street, The Air I Breathe, Mrs. Doubtfire and Roy Orbison: Black & White Night.

A few new titles and a new site feature to introduce today.

Warner Home Video / New Line will be releasing The Mask        on Blu-ray Disc on December 9th, 2008.

I have been looking forward to this since the original DVD of The Mask was pretty lackluster.

Retail will be $28.99, only $20.95 at Amazon.

I have a huge swag of new listings for this weekend update, including the Disney titles mentioned yesterday.

Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition will be released by Walt Disney Video on March 10th, 2009.

As with Sleeping Beauty, this release will contain a bonus DVD of the movie.

The yet to be released in the cinema Quantum of Solace Bond movie has already been given a release date in France by Fox.

According to Amazon France, you should expect James Bond: Quantum of Solace from Fox on May 2nd, 2009.

I would tend to assume that the US release will be on or before this date, though of course it will be a Sony release in the USA.

A very happy day for me personally today.

La Femme Nikita has finally been freshly listed for pre-order by Sony Pictures, scheduled for a December 2nd, 2008 release.

If I had to choose one, I would say that this is my favourite movie ever.

While this French language movie isn’t perfect, I feel the ‘rough edges’ lend it credibility.

Retail will be $28.95, the Amazon price - only $20.95.

I see that Amazon has a couple of promotions going right now that has a number of titles available for less than $14.

The first promotion is cleverly titled ‘Save on Blu-ray Discs as Low as $13.95‘.

A number of the Warner titles in the promotion are $13.95, including A Clockwork Orange , Alexander, Beerfest, Bullitt, Eraser, Every Which Way But Loose, House of Wax, March of the Penguins, Space Cowboys, Swordfish, The Aviator, The Gauntlet and Wyatt Earp.
