The Ernie Davis football movie The Express        has been freshly listed by Universal Studios, scheduled for a January 20th, 2009 release.

Weinstein Company is finally planning a must have for any Kevin Smith fan - Clerks 2        is scheduled for release on February 10th, 2009.

The retail price will be $34.95, pre-order at Amazon for $25.99.

Anchor Bay has announced Righteous Kill        for Blu-ray on January 6th, 2009.

This movie pairs Al Pacino and Robert De Niro as New York City cops.

The retail price will be $39.98, pre-order at Amazon for $29.99.

Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced the release of Chocolate        for February 10th, 2009. Retail will be $34.98, the Amazon price - only $25.99.

Zuffa is planning to release UFC: Best of 2008        on March 24th, 2009. Retail has been set at $19.98, find it at Amazon for only $14.99.

Tokyo Shock has Death Trance        coming to Blu-ray on January 27th, 2009. Retail has been set at $24.99, at Amazon for only $18.49.

Surround Records is releasing Vivaldi: L’Estro Armonico - The Best of Violin Concetros - Acoustic Reaity Experience        on November 28th, 2008.

The first new listing is one that makes me very happy indeed. The excellent Paris Je T’Aime has been listed by First Look Pictures, scheduled for a November 18th, 2008 release.

This title is mostly in French and features shorts by twenty filmmakers, offering a wide variety of styles and genres, set in the various arrondissements in Paris. This film is simply a must own for anyone with an interest in foreign cinema and I personally can’t wait to see it again.

Back to the little guys, Screen Media is releasing the ‘rebellious teen’ movie Never Back Down on July 29th, 2008. The retail price will be $34.99, pre-order at Amazon for $23.95.

Perhaps the first title to show up for Surround Records, we see Grieg - Piano Concerto / Symphonic Dances / In Autumn - Acoustic Reality Experience with a street date of April 25th, 2008. I am always excited to see esoteric releases from the ’small guys’.

From the not so small guys, Buena Vista Home Video has the M. Night Shyamalan film Signs and the Al Pacino, Colin Farrell match up The Recruit on June 3rd, 2008.
