I have been looking forward to this since the original DVD of The Mask was pretty lackluster.

Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition will be released by Walt Disney Video on March 10th, 2009.
As with Sleeping Beauty, this release will contain a bonus DVD of the movie.

I see that Amazon has a bunch of Sony titles at $17.95 - for these Day and Date titles that is a savings of 54% off retail.
The titles are 21, Gridiron Gang, Hostel - Part II, Reign Over Me, Rocky Balboa, The Holiday, The Messengers, The Pursuit of Happyness, Vacancy, Click, RV, The Covenant, Ultraviolet and Underworld Evolution.
A great opportunity to get these normally higher priced Day and Date releases for less than $20.
I read over at Video Business that nationwide retailer Target has increased the floor space dedicated to Blu-ray Discs and players.
According to the article, Target has done this in response to rising customer demand for the format.
Looks like the UK has some interesting releases listed recently.
Look out for The Strangers, a thriller from Universal Pictures UK which is due for release on December 26th, 2008.
On the music side, expect Concert For Diana from Universal Music Operations on October 27th, 2008.
I see that a few Sony titles have been put on sale today, with 54% off the retail price.
Right now Rocky Balboa, The Holiday, Vacancy, Hostel - Part II and Click are only $17.95 - a great price considering the retail for these titles is $38.95.
A Sony Pictures Animation bundle has been freshly listed at Amazon, scheduled for a November 4th, 2008 release.
The set appears to include Surf’s Up, Open Season and Monster House.
Retail will be $116.87, the Amazon price - only $86.95.

La Femme Nikita has finally been freshly listed for pre-order by Sony Pictures, scheduled for a December 2nd, 2008 release.
If I had to choose one, I would say that this is my favourite movie ever.
While this French language movie isn’t perfect, I feel the ‘rough edges’ lend it credibility.
