Warner Announces ‘Batman: Gotham Knight’ for Blu-ray Release

batman.jpgWarner has announced Batman: Gotham Knight for Blu-ray release July 8 2008. Will feature a 1080p VC-1 transfer.

The release will include:

  • A Mirror for the Bat: The Evil Denizens of Gotham City - A stimulating documentary covering Gotham City’s most nefarious of characters, combined with a look into the symbiotic relationship Batman shares with his enemies.
  • Sneak Peek: Wonder Woman - DC Universe animated original movie
  • Batman and Me a Devotion of Destiny: The Bob Kane Story - The comprehensive chronology of the remarkable life of the creator of Batman.
  • Batman: The Animated Series Bonus Episodes - Bruce Timm selects his favorite episodes from Batman: The Animated Series.

Disney Announces Details for National Treasure Duo

nationaltreasure.jpgDisney has announced the details on the upcoming 2 Disc Special Edition releases for National Treasure and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, scheduled for May 20 2008.

These releases will feature 1080p AVC transfers and LPCM 24 bit 5.1 audio. The feature list as follows includes exclusive content not on the DVD releases:

National Treasure includes:

  • Alternate Ending
  • Deleted Scenes
  • National Treasure on Location Making of Featurettes
    • The Knights Templar
    • Treasure Hunters Revealed
    • Riley’s Decode This!

Disney Confirms October Arrival for Sleeping Beauty Blu-ray

beauty.jpegHigh Def Digest is reporting that Disney has confirmed the October release date for Sleeping Beauty.

The release will mark the first Blu-ray Disc in the Platinum Edition series. The disc is expected to feature 7.1 LPCM audio and BD Live features.

The disc will be released October 7th.
