A Sony Pictures Animation bundle has been freshly listed at Amazon, scheduled for a November 4th, 2008 release.

The set appears to include Surf’s Up, Open Season and Monster House.

Retail will be $116.87, the Amazon price - only $86.95.

On the music side, Jive has announced Three Days Grace - Live At The Palace for Blu-ray on December 2nd, 2008.

Retail is set at $29.98, pre-order at Amazon for only $21.95.

Over to imports, 101 Distribution will be releasing Funny Games on Blu-ray Disc on October 21st, 2008.

Retail will be $42.49, $30.95 at Amazon.

101 Distribution has also announced the release of Shrooms for October 27th.

Retail will be $54.49, $39.95 at Amazon.

Both of these releases look to be UK imports.

Universal and Paramount continue to catch up with titles previously released on HD DVD with today’s new listings.

Universal Home Video will be releasing Jet Li’s Fearless on Blu-ray Disc on December 9th, 2008.

The retail price is $29.98, get it at Amazon for only $21.95.

Starting with the UK, I see that Revolver Entertainment is planning to release Tyson on November 17th, and The Wackness for December 29th, 2008

I see some great titles added at Amazon France today.

Quite a number of new titles have been listed to be released by Aventi and BAC - including a number of US ‘art house’ films. I am certainly hoping for good quality releases that are coded for all regions!

Dead Man is scheduled for release by BAC on November 5th, 2008.

Expect a second Soundstage title to be available November 11th, in addition to the previously listed Tom Petty title.

Entertainment in Video has an interesting selection of Blu-ray titles coming up in the UK.

While their Region Coding policy and quality to date has been somewhat mixed, it is interesting to see the new titles.

Looks like the UK is getting some new Blu-ray release announcements ahead of the US again.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is planning to release the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence movie Bad Boys on November 3rd, 2008.

No doubt Michael Bay is thrilled!

The recent Angelina Jolie action movie Wanted will be released by Universal Pictures UK on December 1st, 2008.

Hopefully we will see an official US announcement soon also.

Universal Pictures also has some TV coming - Ricky Gervias in Extras - The Christmas Specials - on November 3rd, 2008.

I see a few interesting releases in Germany from Kinowelt, HMH Hamburger Medien Haus and Ufa.

Fight Club and Dances With Wolves are coming from Kinowelt on December 5th, 2008.

Both could be very popular imports if Fox doesn’t get their act together.

The Hayden Christensen movie Awake will be released by Kinowelt on December 12th, 2008

Anna Karenina (1997), Little Fish and Heavy Petting (2007) are planned by HMH Hamburger Medien Haus for October 16th, 2008.

HMH Hamburger Medien Haus also has Poor Boy’s Game and Da Block Party 1 & 2 Doppelpack coming on November 13th, 2008

Expect Penelope (2006) from Ufa on November 10th, 2008.

Germans will have to wait until June 30th, 2009 for Wall-E!
