Amazon has listed a couple of new promotions with extensive savings over a wide range of titles.

While titled Save up to 55% on Blu-ray Movies, this offer actually lists 196 titles discounted as much as 69%.

Some of the better bargains include the Batman Anthology, Dirty Harry Ultimate Collector’s Edition, I Am Legend, Amadeus and George Carlin: It’s Bad For Ya.

Most of the titles are Warner, though there are also some Fox and Image Entertainment titles included.

Additionally the Get Your Favorite Movies on Blu-ray for $12.99 sale lists 30 Fox and MGM titles for as low as $9.99.

Amazon is back with a new Buy Two Get One Free sale.

As per usual, the least expensive of the three selected will be free.

Prices range from $13.99 up, and with well over 300 to choose from you will probably find something that you like.

Titles are from Fox, Image, Sony and Paramount and include Taken, Valkyrie, Baraka, Slumdog Millionaire, Da Vinci Code, Spaceballs, Fargo and Caligula.

Choosing three at the usual 30% discount will result in 53% saving overall so be sure and check it out.

Amazon continues to reduce the price on some key Blu-ray titles today.

The When We Left Earth – The NASA Missions (4-Disc Set) is now only $19.99, saving over 71% off the retail pricing.

Additionally, there are great prices on the latest Bond movies.

The 2 disc edition of Casino Royale has been further reduced to  $11.99, a 69% reduction off retail.

Also Quantum of Solace is now listed for $15.49, saving 61%.

Universal Studios has announced the release of Chronicles of Riddick        for March 31st, 2009.

This Sci-Fi movie featuring Vin Diesel was an early HD DVD release for Universal.

Retail is set at $29.98, pre-order at Amazon for only $20.99.

The original Ridddick story Pitch Black        will also be released by Universal Studios on March 31st.

The retail price will be $29.98, pre-order at Amazon for $20.99.

Universal Studios is also planning to release a bundle of the two movies Chronicles of Riddick & Pitch Black        on the same day.

The retail price will be $59.98, pre-order at Amazon for $41.99.

Image Entertainment is releasing the Imax movie Amazon        on May 5th, 2009. The retail price will be $24.98, pre-order at Amazon for $17.49.

Magic Of Flight        will also be released by Image Entertainment on May 5th. Retail will be $24.98, only $17.49 at Amazon.

Journey Into Amazing Caves        is the third Image Entertainment Imax title for May 5th. Again retail is set at $24.98, pre-order at Amazon for only $17.49.

Image is also planning to release an Imax Bundle – the Blu Sea Trilogy        .

Retail will be $59.98, the Amazon price – only $41.99 – so definitely some saving if you get the bundle.

Fox Home Entertainment has announced Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade Of Cartoon Comedy        for Blu-ray on April 21st, 2009. Retail will be $24.99, the Amazon price – only $17.49.

Thinkflims has announced the release of Incendiary        for May 5th, 2009. The retail price will be $35.98, pre-order at Amazon for $24.99.

While our French friends are enjoying a Buy One Get One offer, Amazon.com has kicked off another Buy Two Blu-ray Discs, Get One Free promotion.

Looks like a decent range of titles – 247 in total – covering studios like Sony, Weinstein, Image Entertainment, Warner, Paramount and Lionsgate.

Titles include The Bank Job, Death Proof, Planet Terror, 300 and Transformers, so likely you will find 3 discs you need for your collection.

Hardly surprising I guess, but here we are the day after Christmas Day (hope eveyone had a great break) and Amazon is loading up the sales.

There are two new sales of interest. The one with fewer titles but deeper savings applies to Warner titles including a lot of box sets – see the Post Christmas Blu-ray Sale for details.

Titles include Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles – First Season, Pushing Daisies – First Season, Nip/Tuck – Fourth Season and Austin Powers Collection: Shagadelic Edition, all at half off or better.

The other sale offers Up to 50% Savings on Blu-ray Discs and has 200 titles covering a wide range of pricing.

It is interesting to see the Criterion collection titles including Bottle Rocket, The Third Man , Chungking Express and The Man Who Fell to Earth discounted to $23.99.

In any case be sure and check it out – there are a lot of titles there to choose from.

20th Century Fox has The Secret Life of Bees        coming to Blu-ray on February 3rd, 2009.

This engaging drama features Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson.

Retail will be $39.98, only $27.99 at Amazon.

Speaking of Dakota Fanning, newcomer Hannover House has Hounddog        scheduled for release on February 3rd, 2009.

Retail is set at $24.95, also at Amazon for $24.95 currently – perhaps they will discount it later.

Universal Studios is planning to release Changeling        on February 17th, 2009.

This critically acclaimed Clint Eastwood movie featuring Angelina Jolie was a modest box office success.

Retail will be $39.98, the Amazon price – only $27.99.

Image Entertainment will be releasing In The Electric Mist        on Blu-ray Disc on March 24th, 2009.

Tommy Lee Jones, John Goodman, Peter Sarsgaard and Kelly Macdonald feature in this murder mystery.

Retail has been set at $35.98, bargain hunters will find it at Amazon for only $24.99.

Image Entertainment is also planning to release Heroes Of World Class Wrestling: Deluxe Edition        on March 10th, 2009. Retail will be $24.98, the Amazon price – only $17.49.

Arthaus Musik has announced Doktor Faust        for Blu-ray on January 27th, 2009. The retail price will be $45.98, pre-order at Amazon for $32.15.

Baroque Motion 1        has been freshly listed by Microcinema, scheduled for a February 24th, 2009 release. Retail is set at $34.95, pre-order at Amazon for only $24.49.

Microcinema has also announced the release of Surrealist Motion 1        for February 24th, 2009. The retail price is $34.95, you can pre-order it at Amazon for only $24.49.

Razor Digital Entertainment has announced Equator 1: Power Of An Ocean        for Blu-ray on February 17th, 2009. Retail will be $24.99, the Amazon price – only $17.49.

Wild Asia 1: In the Realm Of The Red Ape        will also be released by Razor Digital on March 24th. Retail has been set at $24.99, find it at Amazon for only $17.49.
