The Blu-ray Cover Art Gallery for the week of the 31st of January 2010 reveals a lot of releases, though many of them are pretty basic titles from Anchor Bay.

New Day and Date titles include Zombieland and Amelia, while catalog titles include The Last King of Scotland, Walk the Line, Mystic River and individual releases for The Godfather and The Godfather Part II.

BBC SciFi fans will flip over the range of Dr Who titles, including Doctor Who: The Waters Of Mars, Doctor Who: The End Of Time and the whole shooting match in Doctor Who: The Complete Specials.

Warner also released less expensive ‘regular’ editions of Gone with the Wind and Bonnie and Clyde, along with The Music Man.

Amazon has reduced the pricing on a number of First Look Pictures titles to under $10, with many at $6.99.

Perhaps the best deal money-wise is the Lindsay Lohan movie Labor Pains which has been reduced over 76% from retail to $6.99.

Titles at $6.99 include the Academy Award winning Monster, Dog Soldiers, Immortal  and The Proposition.

Other big reductions are Priceless for $7.99 saving 77% and Trans-Siberian for $9.99 saving over 70% off retail.

Sukiyaki Western Django is also only $7.99 and festive folks with a spare $5 might be interested in the Virtual Fireplace: Home for Christmas disc.

Certainly a good chance for some independent titles at a great price.

Amazon continues to beef up its list of heavily discounted titles, adding a few more $9.99 titles.

Recent additions to the list include Run, Fatboy, Run, P.S. I Love You and Music and Lyrics.

The surprising thing about this is the discount - these titles are reduced over 70% from the retail prices.

Monster        will be released by First Look Home Entertainment with budget pricing on September 1st, 2009.

This movie features an Academy Award winning performance from Charlize Theron.

The retail price is $19.98, at Amazon for only $12.99.

MGM has announced the release of Stargate Atlantis: Fans’ Choice        for August 4th, 2009.

Retail is set at $29.98, pre-order at Amazon for only $20.99.

Cinevolve Studios has announced Home Front        for Blu-ray on June 30th, 2009. Retail has been set at $24.95, find it at Amazon for only $24.95.

Cinevolve also has Google Me        coming to Blu-ray on July 21st, 2009. The retail price will be $24.95, pre-order at Amazon for $24.95.

Inakustic is releasing a Paris Concert series on Blu-ray Disc on July 14th.

The titles will carry a retail price of $24.95 and are $17.49 at Amazon.

Fight Club is one of my favourite movies of all time and while I have the German release, I am looking forward to one that is more compatible with US players.

Additionally 20th Century Fox has Big Trouble in Little China        scheduled for August 4th, 2009.

My Cousin Vinny        will also be released by Fox on August 4th.

I don’t know much about the film except that it stars John Cussack, retail is $34.98 and it’s yours for $8!

The Prince & Me 3: A Royal Honeymoon is also only $7.99.

I have no idea how long these sale prices will last, so strike while the iron is hot!

The Wrestler        has been freshly listed by Fox Searchlight, scheduled for a April 21st, 2009 release.

Many think Mickey Rourke deserved the Oscar for this Darren Aronofsky movie.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment will be releasing My Bloody Valentine 3D        on Blu-ray Disc on May 19th, 2009.
