Amazon has great new pricing for a couple of recent Paramount Blu-ray titles.

Save 58% when you buy Star Trek or Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for only $16.99.

Additionally, the Universal Studios release of Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds is also only $16.99.

Amazon is pretty fickle with their pricing, so get them while you can at these great discounts!

Some of you may have noticed a new feature block on the home page for the site.

The new Recent Amazon Bargains and Deals widget lists the most recent titles listed for 50% off or more.

And to prove it’s worth I see right now that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been dropped to half retail price, selling for only $19.99.

Amazon have just listed a bunch of current titles at half off.

Tomorrow sees the release of the Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on Blu-ray and Amazon is currently listing this pre-order for only $19.99.

DreamWorks Animation’s Monsters vs. Aliens is another hot title with half off the price tag, again currently at $19.99 at Amazon.

Over to Fox, the recent action release from the X-Men franchise X-Men Origins: Wolverine also gets a 50% discount and $19.99 price tag.

Additional titles at 50% from Fox include Australia, The Day the Earth Stood Still and The Secret Life of Bees.

One of my favourite action comedy science fiction movies has been listed for release on Blu-ray Disc.

Dreamworks has announced the release of Galaxy Quest        for November 17th, 2009.

The retail price is $29.99, you can pre-order it at Amazon for only $20.99.

If art house is more your cup of tea, Criterion is planning to release the Italian crime film Gomorrah        on November 24th, 2009.

Retail will be $39.95, only $26.99 at Amazon.

Lions Gate is releasing the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Red Heat        as part of their budget series on November 10th, 2009.

Retail will be only $19.99, the Amazon price $13.99.

Lions Gate will also be releasing Kathryn Bigelow’s Near Dark        on Blu-ray Disc on November 10th, 2009.

Again the retail price is $19.99, you can pre-order it at Amazon for only $13.99.

Fans will be pleased to read that Paramount is planning to release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen        on October 20th, 2009.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a huge hit this year for maverick director Michael Bay, with almost $400M earned at the domestic box office! 

The release will be a 2 Disc special edition, with disc 2 loaded with features.

Retail will be $39.99, the Amazon price - only $27.99.

Sure to be one of the big titles for year end, Paramount has Monsters vs. Aliens        coming to Blu-ray on September 29th, 2009.

This is DreamWorks Animation’s latest release and I am looking forward to the Blu-ray after already seeing it in 3D IMAX.

Retail has been set at $34.99, bargain hunters will find it at Amazon for only $24.49.

DreamWorks Animation was at the Roswell UFO Festival to promote their movieMonsters vs. Aliens.

Word from the festival was that the Monsters vs. Aliens Blu-ray will street on September 29, 2009.

This release will include the world premiere of the brand new 3D adventure B.O.B.’s Big Break, starring everyone’s favorite gelatinous hero from Monsters vs. Aliens.

The movie was one of the highlights this year in the cinema for me, and I eagerly await the Blu-ray release for this title!
