Election week brings a Blu-ray Cover Art Gallery loaded with key titles for the upcoming holiday season.
The Amazing Spider-Man from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment comes in many flavours, including a Blu-ray 3D The Amazing Spider-Man and a special The Amazing Spider-Man (Limited Edition) with action figures included in the package.
Sony also has Arthur Christmas this week, which also comes in an Arthur Christmas 3D edition.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has some Christmas cheer in the catalog release for The Muppet Christmas Carol this week, as well as the popular Reese Witherspoon movie Sweet Home Alabama.
Paramount Home Entertainment is also digging into the catalog with the classic Sunset Boulevard and the Steve Martin comedy Planes Trains and Automobiles.
Also look for a remastered edition of Patton this week from Fox Home Entertainment.
Warner Home Video has a Digibook release for Guys and Dolls this week, as well as The Client, along with television releases Entourage: The Complete Series from HBO Home Video and Call the Midwife: Season One from BBC Warner.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has the huge centennial release Universal 100th Anniversary Collection this week.
From the independents look for Kurusawa’s Rashomon from Criterion Collection, Fritz Lang’s Die Nibelungen from Kino Lorber Incorporated and the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol from VCI Entertainment.
Image Entertainment has the Blu-ray 3D release for the IMAX documentary Rescue this week.
On the music side, look for The Rolling Stones: Charlie is my Darling – Ireland 1965 from ABKCO Films and Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live in Budapest from Eagle Rock Entertainment.
