Disney’s Upcoming 2009 Blu-ray Releases Revealed

I see an interesting article over at Yahoo about Disney’s plans to add DVD copies and/or Digital Copies of movies along with the Blu-ray Disc release.

Perhaps of more interest is the revelation of many of Disney’s upcoming release plans for 2009.

Looks like we can expect Walt Disney’s animated classic Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition in March and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Platinum Edition in October.

From Pixar we can expect Monsters Inc. and A Bugs Life.

Other titles to expect include Microcosmos, Rounders 10th Anniversary Edition, Lost: The Complete First and Second Seasons, Sin City, Sling Blade, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Pulp Fiction Special Edition and Good Will Hunting Special Edition.

I must say that I am really looking forward to quite a number of these releases!

I’m really looking forward to Pinocchio and Bugs Life in Blu. My 3-year old loves to impersonate Pinocchio’s nose when he lies and thoroughly enjoys the Bugs Life attraction at Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL.
