I see over at Home Media Magazine that Paramount has bragging rights with their Iron Man Blu-ray Disc release.

The studio said that Iron Man has sold 850,000 Blu-ray units to date, making it the best selling Blu-ray Disc title in Blu-ray history.

One can only imagine Iron Man making it to 1 million units sold by the end of the year - the question is, will it do so before Dark Knight is released and starts the chase?

In any case, it has certainly been a great year for Paramount on Blu-ray Disc after dropping the format - I guess ‘all is forgiven’ for the Blu-ray enthusiasts!
