		<description>I am not aware of any Sony plans to support streaming from the likes of Netflix.

The reality is though that both of the current models should be capable with a firmware upgrade - that doesn't mean that Sony will do it - but it is not impossible.

I guess it is slightly more likely that the BDP-S550 will be more capable since it may have more memory or more capable CPU... but realistically I kinda doubt that Sony would add such a nice feature for free via a firmware upgrade.

If it is a strong need you are probably best to stick with the ones that claim the capability.</description>

		<description>I am getting ready to buy a blu ray dvd player and plan to purchase one of the two with NetFlix.  Does Sony have anything out now or coming soon to compete with this service?  For streaming video, I don't really care about HD right now.  What Sony model do I need to buy now to be able to take advantage of some future services?</description>
