The yet to be released in the cinema Quantum of Solace Bond movie has already been given a release date in France by Fox.

According to Amazon France, you should expect James Bond: Quantum of Solace from Fox on May 2nd, 2009.

I would tend to assume that the US release will be on or before this date, though of course it will be a Sony release in the USA.

I see some other titles of interest listed, especially for fans of French and/or art house cinema.

As a fan of Luc Besson I am pleased to see Le Grand Bleu (The Big Blue) coming from Fox Pathé Europa on November 26th, 2008.

No doubt this is the original version which will not feature the ‘Hollywood’ ending that was tagged on for the US release of this movie.

If I recall correctly the film is mostly in English, however being a Fox oriented release, the region coding may be an issue.

Expect the French comedies Le diner de cons and Les visiteurs from Paramount on December 4th, 2008.

Lastly, look for the Woody Allen movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona from Warner on May 8th, 2009
