New ‘My Blu-ray Stats’ Features Enabled

user100.gifFirst off I guess I should apologize for not posting so much news this last couple of weeks.

I have been on a vacation with the family for a couple of weeks, lots of fun, and more recently working on new features for the Blu-ray Stats site.

In any case I am sure that you have already read that Iron Man did very well on Blu-ray Disc and that Netflix is going to charge us more for Blu-ray rentals.

In any case, I am pretty excited about the new ‘My Blu-ray Stats‘ features.

For a while now I have been running a beta version that allows Forum users to add their collection and see their own stats.

The compilation of those collections has also been used to create a User Top 100 titles - showing which titles are most popular amongst the My Blu-ray Stats users.

I must admit that I am surprised by some of the higher ranking titles.

Today I have taken the Collection out of beta and added new functionality.

Freshly added is the Wishlist function.

This allows users to add titles present or pre-order to their Wishlist, and to set a savings threshold to see what titles in the Wishlist currently represent the best values at Amazon.

Ideal for those of us who are way behind and prefer to buy discs when they are at a good discount.

I have also added the ability to share your collection stats with others at your discretion.

All in all some fun features I think - be sure and enter your collection to influence our User Top 100!
