As mentioned a couple of days ago, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced the release of Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story for December 9th, 2008.

This excellent comedy features Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller.

Retail will be $39.98, only $29.95 at Amazon.

On the music side, Sony will be releasing Between The Lines: Sara Bareilles Live At The Filmore on Blu-ray Disc on October 28th, 2008. The retail price is $29.98, you can pre-order it at Amazon for only $21.95.

Warner Home Video is planning to release I Am Legend Ultimate Collector’s Edition on December 9th, 2008.

The Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes an exclusive 44-page concept sketch book, six collectible art cards showing international cities devastated by the virus and a lenticular lucite commemorative piece featuring imagery from the film.

Retail is set at $59.99, pre-order at Amazon for only $44.95.

Back to Fox - 20th Century Fox will be releasing the individual issues of Planet of the Apes and Battle for The Planet of The Apes on Blu-ray Disc on November 4th, 2008.

The retail price for both will be $34.99, pre-order at Amazon for $25.95.

20th Century Fox is also releasing a Special Edition of The Day the Earth Stood Still on December 2nd, 2008.

This coincides with a 2 disc DVD release of the 1951 Sci Fi Classic - kudos to Fox for releasing a Blu-ray Disc as well!

Retail has been set at $34.99, bargain hunters will find it at Amazon for only $25.95.

It is interesting to note this new price point from Fox, which seems to apply to their ‘classic’ releases.

On to the bundles - 20th Century Fox will release the Hard Action Blu-ray 3-Pack on November 18th, 2008.

Titles included are Hitman, Street Kings and Man On Fire.

The Family Blu-ray 3-Pack has also been scheduled for a November 18th release.

This one has Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ice Age and Ice Age - The Meltdown .

Lastly, 20th Century Fox is releasing the Kid Blu-ray 3-Pack on the same day.

This one has Night at the Museum, Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium and Eragon.

Retail for these bundles will be $79.99, the Amazon price - only $59.95.
