Sony BDP-S550 BD Live Blu-ray Player Up for Pre-order at Sony Style

Sony Style are listing the release date as “on or about 10/13/2008″ and the price is $499.99.

I know a lot of people have been waiting patiently (?!)  for this player - now the countdown begins.
