Soundstage Series for Blu-ray Disc with Tom Petty Performance

tompetty.jpgIn great news for ‘music in Hi Def’ fans, the first Soundstage performances are headed to Blu-ray.

Koch Vision has announced the release of Soundstage: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers for November 11th, 2008.

Retail will be $24.99, only $17.95 at Amazon.

Soundstage performances have been available in High Definition on a number of PBS stations for years, though quality has suffered due to multicasting leading to minimal bitrates dedicated to the High Definition feed - at least in my area!

Cannibal Taboo will be released by Eclectic DVD on October 28th, 2008.

Retail is set at $24.95, pre-order at Amazon for only $17.95.

According to IMdb - “Cannibal Janet, seems to be living a normal life but is eating her way through her family.”

I guess it is good to see a variety in themes coming to Blu-ray Disc!

Certainly great to see a new distributor releasing titles.
