Dave,
I’ve been waiting for Ronin to be released but I think this is an import, like you said. Would you happen to have the details of this disc? I’m interested on the Audio quality. I remember watching this movie a while back and thinking how awesome this would sound if I had a good sound system. Now that I have a decent system, just need the BR movie.
Anyway, cool site. Keep it up man!

It is not clear to me where these discs are being imported from.
I think that the Asian movies are coming in from Korea, so it is possible that is the source of Ronin also.
I don’t have anything further than that for Ronin.
The Korean release of Lust, Caution has 7.1 PCM audio, so perhaps there is a good chance that Ronin has lossless audio.
No guarantees of course…
Be sure and let us know if you end up buying it!

Ronin looks like the Japanese release of the movie.
Japan is of course region A like the US.
If you look closely at the cover art, it has the DTS-HD Master Audio logo on the cover, so it should rock - assuming you have Master Audio decoding capability.
My Blueberry Nights also appears to be the Japanese release.
