Universal Gangsters Blu-ray Giftset Listed

casino.jpgYesterday I mentioned to expect the three Universal gangster titles would come in a box set.

Lo and behold - today the giftset is also listed.

Universal Home Video will be releasing the Gangsters Giftset on Blu-ray Disc on October 14th, 2008.

The set contains three excellent films - Ridley Scott’s American Gangster, Martin Scorsese’s Casino and David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises.

Retail is set at $89.98, pre-order at Amazon for only $62.95.

To be honest, I think if they want to sell things in box sets there should be some pricing incentive. As it stands, it is slightly cheaper to buy the three discs individually, which just makes no sense to me at all.
