Starz Blu-ray Horror Titles Get Bundled

Anchor Bay / Starz is releasing bundled versions of their Horror titles, one of which is exclusive to Amazon.

The Masters of Horror Blu-ray Bundle includes the four volumes of Season 1 of Masters of Horror.

The Zombie Blu-ray Bundle is exclusive to Amazon and includes Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn.

At the current sale pricing you are much better off getting the titles individually, so it will be interesting to see if that pricing improves closer to the September 8th release date.

Hopefully Starz also gets busy releasing more of their quality catalog like the first Evil Dead & Dario Argento classics like Suspiria. (Nice job on the original Halloween on Blu-ray, Starz - it’s never looked better!) It’d be nice to see more in horror flicks than the teen slasher junk that’s been starting to appear on Blu-ray lately. Hey, Warner, how about releasing the originals of The Haunting and The Thing from Another World while we’re on the subject.

I must admit I have a soft spot for horror flix too.

When the Staez stuff goes on sale I am hard pressed to find any new stuff - I pretty much have them all.

I am looking forward to Heathers though - I hope they do a good job.
