Amazon is now taking pre-orders for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Blu-ray Disc.

While there is no release date listed, it is anticipated for October 14th 2008.

Retail is set at $39.99, pre-order now for only $27.95.

Amazon is also listing a James Bond Blu-ray Collection Six-Pack. Retail has been listed as $179.96 and you will find it at Amazon for only $125.95 - so no saving over the other box sets as of yet.

Perhaps Amazon will drop the price closer to release.

It is great to see the Weinstein Company on board with Blu-ray.

The studio is releasing the The Mist on September 16th, 2008. This Frank Darabont horror/thriller is based on a Stephen King story.

The retail price will be $34.95, pre-order at Amazon for $23.95.

1408 will also be released by Weinstein Company on September 16th, 2008.

Another horror/thriller movie, this one features John Cusack and a lot of special effects.

Retail will be $29.95, only $20.95 at Amazon.

Perhaps now that the Weinstein Company releases are flowing, I have a chance of finally getting Clerks II on Blu-ray!
