Import Watch France: Highlander, Dobermann and The Dark Knight

highlander.jpgI see some interesting listings in France this week.

Highlander and Stargate : La porte des étoiles are coming to Blu-ray from Studio Canal on October 23rd, 2008. I am hoping for a decent version of Highlander, since the USA theatrical cut should be avoided if at all possible. There can be only one!

Universal Pictures is releasing Dobermann and American Gangster, also on October 23rd, 2008. I am hoping for English language support on Dobermann - this crime drama featuring Vincent Cassel, Monica Bellucci and Tchéky Karyo is quite the cinematic experience.

Also expect Batman - The Dark Knight, Le Chevalier Noir from Warner Home Video on February 28th, 2009.
