Fermeture Pour Renovation, Stendhal Syndrome and Expelled Coming to Blu-ray

willem.jpgThere are a few oddball releases listed today for Blu-ray release.

Vogue Europe has released the Christophe Willem title Fermeture Pour Renovation - it is in stock and ready to ship. Apparently Christophe Willem was the winner of the French version of American/Pop Idol in 2006.

While Amazon lists the title as an import, I am not sure where it is imported from, as it does not seem to be listed in France. That said, the pricing is reasonable - retail is set at $31.98 and at Amazon for only $21.95.

Blue Underground will be releasing The Stendhal Syndrome on Blu-ray Disc on November 18th, 2008. Retail will be $34.95, only $23.95 at Amazon.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed has been freshly listed by Premise, scheduled for a October 21st, 2008 release. This controversial ‘documentary’ about Intelligent Design vs. Evolution features Ben Stein as the host. Retail has been set at $34.99, bargain hunters will find it at Amazon for only $25.99.

I would highly suggest for you, and any one else interested to read the book ““The Devil’s Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions.” by self-professed secular Jew and mathematics/philosophies teacher David Berlinski.
This tells the story of a Jew who was forced to dig his own grave prior to being shot by a German soldier. Prior to being shot, the old Jewish man advised the German that “God is watching what you are doing.” The Jewish gentleman pointed what i think is the real problem with atheism. “If you have the time please check the book out
