I see something at Amazon UK that makes me very happy today.

The cult TV series Thunderbirds, made back in 1964, has been scheduled for release by ITV on September 15th, 2008. The retail pricing is a little steep at £120.99 - of course Amazon has it for a significant discount - only £90.75.

Based on a run time of 1920 minutes, it looks like all 32 episodes from both seasons will be released.

The show looked great on Voom back when it was broadcast and I have been hoping ever since that ITV would come up with a Blu-ray Disc release!

In other news, a couple of Entertainment in Video titles have also been added for the UK - Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay on September 22nd, 2008 and Blow on September 29th. Both have been already announced in the USA by Warner / New Line Cinema.
