Trio of Universal Horror Titles on Blu-ray in Late September

landofthedead.jpgIt looks like comedy is not the only fare to be served up by Universal in late September.

Universal has scheduled three horror titles on September 30th, 2008. The 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead and John Carpenter’s The Thing will be available individually at $29.98 or as part of a Halloween Starter Pack priced at $59.98.

Somewhat lighter on features than the comedies, these will be single layer discs - though they will all feature lossless audio and U Control Picture in Picture and a commentary track.

Additionally, The Thing will be BD Live enabled.
