Some interesting titles have been listed at Amazon Germany recently.

Perhaps the most interesting, Indiana Jones und das Königreich des Kristallschädels has been listed by Paramount Home Entertainment for December 31st, 2008. It really seems that the studios notify the retailers much further in advance in Europe - though I imagine that the US release will be the same day or sooner - perhaps sooner to get some Holiday Season action for what could be the top domestic box office release this year (Iron Man is still a little ahead).

Die Geheimnisse der Spiderwicks and Cloverfield are also listed from Paramount Home Entertainment for October 6th, 2008.

Highlight has a number of new titles listed, including titles owned by Universal, Paramount and Disney in the USA.

American Pie and Step Up 2 The Streets are due on September 4th, 2008. The Sixth Sense and Sleepy Hollow are scheduled for October 2nd, 2008. Resident Evil has been listed though without a specified release date.

For completeness, Fox has Love Vegas - Extended Version on September 19th, 2008 as well as 27 Dresses and Der Teufel trägt Prada on September 5th, 2008. Again it will be interesting to see if The Devil Wears Prada gets a fresh, higher bitrate AVC encode or if they stick with the original MPEG2 encode.
