Market Share for the Week Ending June 22

Posted in Market Share on July 1st, 2008 by Dave

hmm06.jpgI guess that the Home Media Magazine folks were busy having fun last week - the digital edition came out later than usual and then when it did, the information for Blu-ray sales was quite limited.

That said, Blu-ray market share versus DVD was down fractionally to 6% for the week. While the Home Media website confirmed that Jumper was still the biggest seller that week, the overall revenues were down but still quite decent at $8.48M for the week.

There were no Blu-ray charts in the magazine this week, though last week the site stated that Jumper was the No. 1 Blu-ray Disc seller for the week, narrowly outpacing Fool’s Gold. The Bucket List was No. 3.
