Heroes TV Box Sets on Blu-ray Disc from Universal Studios

heroes.jpgSome great news for fans of the TV series Heroes - Blu-ray Disc season box sets - timed for release just prior to the airing of Season 3.

Heroes: Season 1 will be released by Universal Studios on August 26th, 2008. The first season of this very popular TV show will be presented on a five disc set. The retail price will be $99.98, pre-order at Amazon for $69.95.

Universal Studios will also be releasing Heroes: Season 2 on Blu-ray Disc on August 26th, 2008. Due to the reduced season (writer’s strike)), this is a four disc set. Retail will also be less - $69.98, the Amazon price - only $48.95.

The box sets will include DTS-HD Master Audio sound tracks and a variety of features including Deleted Scenes, Bonus View Picture in Picture commentaries and BD Live content - sounds like a great pair of releases!
