Among numerous new Blu-ray listings in Germany we see a couple of stand out titles, though English language support is doubtful on both of them.

Jet Li - Once upon a time in China and America is scheduled for release by HMH Hamburger Medien Haus on August 28th, 2008. This is a 1997 title, which has both English and Cantonese languages. Perhaps a good choice for Jet Li fans.

The Ninth Company will be released by Kinowelt Home Entertainment on September 19th, 2008. This one appears to be a highly regarded Russian war movie from 2005 which was very popular in Russia.

One with an English language sound track is The Poet, to be released by HMH on September 25th, 2008. This small independent film had very limited release last year in the USA.

Also interesting is that Paramount is releasing No Country For Old Men on September 25th, 2008 - not sure if this will be any more interesting than the Disney US release, but you never know.
