Not sure about their CM relationships.

With the prices dropping I can only imagine that they are no longer manufactured in Japan.

Does anyone know where Pioneer builds it’s bluray players? Do they have their own Taiwan factory or do they farm it out to subcontract assembly?

We do occasionally see market share for the Blu-ray players, usually at the end of the quarter.

Since there is word of the NPD figures being quoted right now on the sales increase, we may hear news about player market share soon.

If I recall correctly in the past the top sellers have been Sony and Panasonic who each take over 20% of the sales.

I will see if I can dig up anything more on that.
