In a seemingly increasingly common practice, we see that Warner Home Video has given dates for European releases which currently have no US release date.

Two of the Warner’s hottest summer movies (well, perhaps one hot and one that they wish was hotter) have release dates in France.

Firstly the Marvel movie Iron Man will be release in France on October 30th, 2008. This movie has exceeded $200M at the US Box Office and looks to be a real hit.

Secondly the ‘Matrix Guys’ are back with their version of Speed Racer, which will be released December 18th, 2008. So far Speed Racer has fallen a little short of expectations with and estimated $27.6M at the Box Office, but perhaps this is one of those titles that will do better on disc than at the cinema.

Another potential title of note is a French comedy from Warner that has yet to be released theatrically even in France - Seuls Two - Eric & Ramzy will be released on Blu-ray December 26th, 2008.

Kind of intriguing to see releases up for pre-order so far ahead of schedule, complete with cover art, but there you have it. No doubt the dates are subject to change.
