Over at DVD Town we see the cover art for the new Universal release Doomsday - a first look at how they will present their titles for the format.

The author confirms the use of the term U-Control as well as the use of DTS-HD Master Audio on this release.

Other tags include “The Ultimate Hi-def Experience” and “Perfect Picture, Purest Sound” - the latter reminiscent of the old “Look and Sound of Perfect” line.

Interestingly enough, the disc has a $39.98 retail - the same as their HD DVD Combo titles (which were relatively expensive to manufacture) - though this is in line with Fox, Sony and Lionsgate for Day and Date releases. Of course the likes of Amazon have this title for a significantly better price…
