BDLive.com Support Web Site Announced by Sun at Java One

bdlive.jpgDuring Tuesdays JavaOne keynote address at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Jeet Kaul (Sun VP of developer products and programs) and Zane Vella (president of RCDb) announced that Sun Microsystems and Related Content Database Inc. have partnered on development of BDLive.com and are offering free BD Live developer disc available at BDLive.com.

This free Blu-ray disc includes sample code, definition of available API’s, and the ability for developers to share their creations with each other and download applications to their home theater. Developer discs are available at BDLive.com while supplies last.

BDLive.com provides software and network services that allow for rapid development of BD Live features. BDLive.com combines Sun’s network.com infrastructure and RCDb’s BD Live Platform software to provide developers, Blu-ray content owners, and consumer electronics manufacturers with advanced network services focused on improving the overall BD Live user experience.
