Sixth Sense, How the West Was Won, In The Name Of The King for UK Blu-ray

Posted in Studios, US Releases on April 23rd, 2008 by Dave

British Uwe Boll fans will be thrilled to hear that Metrodome will release In The Name Of The King on June 30th, 2008. I am almost tempted due to the participation of Jason Statham.

In even better news, on August 11, 2008 Disney will release The Sixth Sense. This was of course a sleeper hit featuring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, which launched M. Night Shyamalan’s career in making movies with a twist. While I expect that this will get a US release also, there have been cases of Disney releasing titles in the UK well ahead of US releases, so you never know. Might be worth an import.

John Wayne fans will be thrilled to hear that Warner has scheduled How The West Was Won for release on September 29th, 2008. Once again I have not seen a US announcement and with no region code restrictions from Warner to date, this could also be a good choice of title for importing. On June 23, 2008 we will also see The Professionals.

For the locals, Warner will release UK versions of the Dirty Harry movies Sudden Impact, Magnum Force, The Enforcer and The Dead Pool on June 9th, 2008.

They will also release 10,000 B.C. on July 14th, 2008 and One Missed Call on September 1st, 2008.
