The Perfect Storm on Blu-ray

perfectstorm.jpgWarner is releasing another ‘catch up’ title, The Perfect Storm on July 22nd, 2008. This turn of the century Wolfgang Petersen film features George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and a lot of water.

Warner released this on HD DVD mid 2006, and was considered one of the transfers with image quality issues. It will be interesting to see if Warner uses the same transfer and video encode for the Blu-ray release.

Retail is the typical Warner catalogue price of $28.99, and Amazon lists it for their typical Warner catalogue price Warner catalogue price, $19.95
