Future Release Updates for March 5, 2008

There seem to be a swag of new releases being announced this week.
From Sony we see the new cover art for The Adventures of Baron Munchausen has been chosen. The title will street April 8 and will include audio commentary with Gilliam and screenwriter Charles McKeown, a two-part documentary (”The Madness and Misadventures of Munchausen,” “As We once Dreamed It: Afterthoughts by Terry Gilliam & Charles McKeown”), deleted scenes, a pair of storyboard sequences, and an exclusive to Blu-ray feature, the “Marvelous World of Munchausen” enhanced graphics and trivia track.
From Tartan we see some indy titles including the latest from Gus Van Sant, Paranoid Park. First up on April 14 Tartan will release the Asian chiller A Tale of Two Sisters, followed two weeks later on April 28 by Paranoid Park. Two films from Oldboy director Park Chan-Wook will follow on May 26, I’m a Cyborg and Lady Vengeance. Lastly, June 23 will see the release of rocker Nick Cave’s critically-praised revisionist western The Proposition, and the animated Korean cult favorite Sky Blue.
From Warner we see one of my personal favourites - Dirty Harry: The Ultimate Collection features all five films (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact, The Dead Pool) and is due on Blu-ray June 3.
Also from Warner, the Hilary Swank film P.S. I Love You is due on 6th May 2008.
From the Bollywood side, we have Eros Entertainment releasing Heyy Babyy on Blu-ray this week. The title is currently available from their site and will be available shortly in retail outlets
